looks great, and nice craftsmanship! I've been following your progress as a great ramp builder myself j/k. but what are you doing about coping? |

I cut wood bannisters down, and screw them to the lip.
I'd use steel pipe, but don't have any way to bend it for the corners. |

For the coping...couldn't you do lots of little slices in metal coping, so that it would bend? Then just weld up the slices once it's where you need it? Does that make sense? |

bend steel pipe; if you have a large tree with a fork low to the ground, you can wedge pipe in and gradually crown the pipe. for the hard corner bends, you can fill the pipe with sand and use the same process, or you might need a pipe bender. |

Is pipe that easy to bend?
I figured it was tougher than that, and figured I could never get a smooth arc. I need a pipe rolling bender like I see on fabricating shows, and a welder, and a pony! And If I can't have a pony, I want a SHOTGUN! |

sch 40 will crown easily, but the tight bends will be harder, you could go with a thinner gauge if needed. |

I want real pool coping, but the cost around here is prohibitive. |

I saw somewhere a DIY pool coping mold, and pour your own. |
