It's the same one that is pictured on AOS. Just wanted to know what people thought it was worth. I'm in no way, shape or form getting rid of this deck since it is one of my grails, so please don't ask! Thanks alot.

It's quite rare to see Alvas from the the early 80s, but I've held that board in my hands, and the quality it definitely shite. I'm guessing that Tony was selling completes that he had made overseas or something. The wood is definitely not maple. Still a valuable collectible. Maybe $300??? |

Arab had one for sale about 2 years ago, went pretty cheap but that was two years ago and things were different. He also had some story about the deck in his description. I believe that Arab and Tony were doing kind of a garage thing up until that point and then Tony moved everything and that was one of the first decks he put out. I could be way off trying to remember a description from 2 years ago. Anyone know Arab he could give you some info on that deck. |

I was negotiating a deal with collectorofcoolstuff for one of these a year ago that was NOS. The price that was set that seemed fair to both of us was $300 (I couldn't go through with it for money reasons at the time, but that price still sounds about right).
These are from around early '84 and although they are not maple, they were great skating boards. I found them to be fairly light but sturdy. I have heard people say they were crap wood, but I repectfully disagree. |

YEAH, GO-SKATE-OR-GO-HOME..... I WAS GOING TO HIT HER UP FOR THAT WHITE ONE. I COULDN'T AFFORD TO BID ON THE WHITE ONE AT THE TIME BECAUSE "DEVILLOCK" BANGED ME FOR 1,000.00 CASH FOR A MINT SET OF PURPLE D/T ROCK N ROLLERS. I ALSO HAD TO GIVE HIM MY CHEVY TAHOE AND NOW I HAVE TO SET UP MY N.O.S. RAY BONES BRITE-LITE SNUB TO RIDE TO WORK. I DO HAVE THE BLACK ALVA SANTA MONICA PIG FROM GROFF THAT I GOT ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO. THEY NEED TO BE DISPLAYED NEXT TO EACH OTHER. SO EITHER SELL ME YOURS OR BUY MINE. |
