The shop would definitely appear in the "Bad People To Deal With" section.
The bike was very poorly packed up. The handlebar was dangling around in the box with almost no covering. No additional stuffing in the box. Box fell apart when the driver and I pulled it out and the tires were mounted in the wrong direction. But that was not all of it. Additional items I bought with it didn't come with the package even though I had informed them to not forget those since they haven't added it to the delivery documents which I got when they confirmed my order. I was calling them several times but no one was able to answer my calls!
In short, very sad experience and first and last time I bought from them!
Shit, dude. I hate to hear that. Any damage? That bike wasn't cheap, I used to build those things up for wealthy roadies, not quite as technical back in the 90's through 2003, but still... Good luck.
And I'll admit it, I used to put rainbow stickers under the bottom bracket. |

I was heated up when I left my post but luckily only minor scratches.
That I had to flip the tyres around annoyed me the most besides the incomplete shipment. There are totally noticeable direction markings on every wheel and any half assed bike mechanic knows that.
The follow-up process is the worst I've ever experienced so far.
I was trying to call them and only got through once while they were answering the online chat at the same time.
They told me that I would have to wait until Tuesday or Wednesday until I get the missing parts because they had to order them from the wholesaler first... I mean, what's the point in running an online shop if your inventory is not being updated in time. They could have told me in the first place that they have to stock up the missing parts and thus won't be able to ship the items altogether in one shipment.
However, I bought the missing parts from another much better online shop and have them here at my place by tomorrow morning.
Here is it as of today.
Representing!
I haven't cut the fork rod to the proper length yet. Need to figure that out where to place the spacer and what fits me best before I cut it to length.
That's my other whip I bought earlier this year.

Thanks Chris!
Still trying to figure out how to use it properly.
I called it my "nut cracking donkey kicker" after my first couple of rides because the damper adjustment was a totally new terrain for me and once I figured out the correct settings I could go much faster, but I am far from the stuff some of the other guys do at the park.
With that said, I am getting closer every day I am out there. |

Got me some spare rims and a pair of tires which roll much better on asphalt roads than the off-road tires.

Me is a poseur exceptionelle just like you Chris.
I ride it to my favorite coffey shop in full gear minus the helmet and then drive back home. That's all I do with it during the week.
On the weekends though I am using it in such a manner it is intended for. Just a quick tire change and it's ready to ride totally different trails.
It's an easy everyday ride with those slicks and I like it that way. The off-road tires are simply not made for asphalt roads and have a lot of roll-off resistance.
@Darren: The speed machine is fun too, believe it or not. I am just back from a 100km ride and it was a blast. My knees are burning like hell but it was well worth it. |
