The tire was like that when I found it, it's worn to the threads in a few places, but it's too cool to take off.

Cool Elgin. Do you have the bars and stuff to put it back together? |

yeah. It was in the middle of being cleaned and the garage roof leaked so I brought it in.
that was five years ago and the roof still leaks. I'm kinda lazy.
the real bummer is that I have another 500 bikes out there getting ruined. |

I've got hundreds of stocked and cataloged projects ready to go. many awesome old schoolers. turnkey restos if you will. too bad you dont live here, we'd have a grand ole time. I lost my bike buddy to the glass dick several years ago and havent touched them since.

seriously that looks like a nice runner. I've got a Styer? that looks just like it. some college dude rode it 75 miles a day. Its about 25 rows back in shop #2.
