The tire was like that when I found it, it's worn to the threads in a few places, but it's too cool to take off.

Thanks, I love those bars too. Perfect for cruising.

Cool Elgin. Do you have the bars and stuff to put it back together?

yeah. It was in the middle of being cleaned and the garage roof leaked so I brought it in.

that was five years ago and the roof still leaks. I'm kinda lazy.

the real bummer is that I have another 500 bikes out there getting ruined.

I've got hundreds of stocked and cataloged projects ready to go. many awesome old schoolers. turnkey restos if you will. too bad you dont live here, we'd have a grand ole time. I lost my bike buddy to the glass dick several years ago and havent touched them since.

seriously that looks like a nice runner. I've got a Styer? that looks just like it. some college dude rode it 75 miles a day. Its about 25 rows back in shop #2.

what brand is it?
