yep. one and the same. '79 KZ650 custom. kerkers were the shit. I always wanted one but somehow ended up with a murray. you had spoke wheels and drum brakes in the rear huh? bummer. I got lucky. mine was the first year to have triple discs and mags. Its been sitting for years and all it needs is new rear pads. one of these days I'll get off my ass and fix it. |

Rear drum brakes are ok. You just don't want one in the front.
Not a bummer at all. That bike looked good with spokes. Though I do wish my '82 GPz750 was running. All satin black with mags, Mad Max special.
If you lived down here Doc, I'd give ya a hand with that KZ. |
