nobody is returning my calls or responding via FB etc. so i have no clue if anything will happen either.
i guess Mark had other plans he forgot about when he told me he was down to skate..wouldn't be the 1st time...c est la vie.
if i'm still in the mood later(after it cools down a tad) i may go do a solo sesh which sucks. |

I just talked to Dale. We're going to try a mellow downhill session in Richardson tomorrow night. |

Our favorite ditch as kids in PA...
the legendary Dust Bowl...passed through this year and it was flooded but I found the Dust Bowl backup was dry...

A little ditch in Menlo Park/Redwood City, Norcal, that I named "the Back Nine." It ran next to a mini golf course. My bro Donny Polk skating in 77 or 78. I lifted this one from FB.

I never saw anyone else skating the Pink Ditch... never knew what to do, really, but it was a lot of fun. Speaking of ATX, I saw some kids killing the ditch with the vert wall back in 2000. When I got back into skating, it was made unskateable by the bulb thingees. I forget what road it is on, but it over by the deaf institute and a Chipotle. I would love to skate that thing. |
