Skatopia1 in Calgary. Bulldozed in late '79

I'm hoping to win lotto and dig it up. It was the largest indoor concrete park in the world at that time.

mikemoney - Awesome pics!!!

I've only skated there solo. Weird lines, but fun.

Have you skated the Pink Ditch in Cedar Park?

Weird lines for sure although once you find a few good ones it's on.

Never skated the pink ditch, but you just doubled my reasons for visiting cedar park! I was just in austin over mother's day weekend unfortunately I had no time to skate...

ABQ - 4Hills is rad but the neighborhood association ruined it by having the city come out and pour tar down the center of it. ABQ local Rob Palmer says it used to be his favorite too until the tar. Indian School is the fastest ditch in ABQ and has ZERO abupt transitions (the bottom seciton is different that the top and the trannys do change but they are far from abrupt).

Whip n Dip here in Dallas is the cleanest it's ever been...EVER. They cut out the tree next to the roll in and swept everything out. Even the part of the ditch on the east side of Harry Hines has been cleaned. I skated that side for the first time in my life about a month ago. The backside of the Whip (the section that lies in the median of I-35 and the I-635 interchange) is clean too. Get your runs in now as they just started construction on 635 to make it a double decker highway.

Also, if you are skating the Whip, just around the corner just to the north of Royal, west side the I-35 access road, you'll find an brand new ditch that is just killer.

Apparently this ditch is somewhere in California. I'd love to hit that!

I've posted this before but here it is again for those that may have missed it. An article I wrote a few years back about skateboarding ABQ. Enjoy!

If you want gnarly and fast in the Dallas area, look no further than the Beast....

Take this line to the right of the column and you'll hit 35 mph....

Trick Tips got in on the action too....

This is a really unique structure and I love it.
