Going to be in La Grange, IL, for about 4 days in June. Ideally I'd like to hit up Wilson park in the city and/or Whiting, IN, but it's a family trip in every sense of the word, so I'm not sure how much driving around I'll be able to do. Anyway, I found some crete parks with bowls in La Grange (Countryside), Elmhurst and Burbank. They are all pretty close to where we're staying, so I was wondering if anyone knows anything about them.

Of the three, which one is best?

Are there others in the area I should also check out?

Mostly into bowls/crete but am open to suggestions.

Thanks!

I assume you mean East of Chicago since you mention Whiting IN.

Bloomington IN has a pretty cool park. We were there last year for Bowl Riders. OH has a ton of cool new parks.

Actually I did mean west. Whiting and/or Wilson would be my best case scenario, but I have a feeling I will need to stick closer to La Grange, so wanted to get the heads up on parks in that area.

I am traveling with my wife and kids and we will be staying with another couple with a small child - and I am the only skater. So I kind of have to take what I can get.

Thanks for the info on Bloomington. That parks looks really fun.
