In the middle of a resto on an old Sims. I have the old graphic showing, and am basically doing all the sanding and puttying around it. What steps do I need to take to get this graphic screen printed back on it after I've done the painting? I read where some of you do your own printing, has anyone ever taken a deck to a print shop for them to screen it?
Just curious...I want to do this right and once. |

I just paint them by hand. I don't know how to go about having it screened, but I'd guess that it would probably be quite a hassle.

Uhhhhh, no, why would you say such a thing? I'm not a deck sniffer--honest!!!!
The paint I use tastes bad. I got some in my mouth the other night and wasn't too thrilled with it. Not like paste...

The Monkey forgot that he used the end of a paintbrush to stir his paint up, and later he put the paintbrush into his mouth. He had purple spit afterwards.

I used a very weak solvent to loosen up the paint from back in the day, and the graphic appeared, like magic. I haven't done anything to that area once it was exposed. All the resto work has been on the edges and tail....I'm not doing anything to the graphic area till I find out if the letters can be reapplied.

@dadd
you can use a regular flatscreen for that kind of board.surface is all straight,no need for any different kind of frame.looks like a very easy resto job for sure |
