I built a frame similar to the one on diyskate and it worked ok. I didnt get very good contact along the rails of the board, I assume I need to exaggerate the curves of the frame a bit more.

Also when stretching the mesh I had some issues with the mesh not following the curves near the nose and tail. The tension lifted those parts up. Any tips on stretching these awkward frames.

I'm going to try the D20 frame, looks like it should work alot better.

Has anyone tried the technique with the mesh on a flat metal frame that screws into the wood frame. If so are their any issues with the image getting distorted when attaching it? And can you reuse the metal frame? Seems like it would retain the shape of the wood frame and become somewhat useless.
