I was snowboarding in Austria with two of my three kids around Easter.
Unfortunately my other son broke his arm playing soccer at school at the very last day in school before Easter vacation, so he and my wife stayed at home.
We had some GREAT powder runs, but managed to shoot only on a steep slope with a digi foto, so not the best quality.
It's always good to be up early to get in some nice runs on fresh corduroy or with 5'' on fresh snow on corduroy to warm up.
Last Friday was the best day as it was even more sunny and MY special deep powder runs were still fresh at 12 o'clock as NOONE was riding it.....love that!

Like a private mountain.
June mountain is like that. Only 20 minutes from Mammoth & SO empty.
Sweet times! |
