ever see some of the guys on this site?? They celebrate meat week and dedicate whole threads to new products from fast food restaurants. trust me, you're better off going to your local bookstore and getting a couple of low fat cookbooks. |

If you're into cooking allrecipes.com is great...you can enter in ingredients you have and it will find recipes you can make with what you've got left.
It will also do the math for you if you want to make smaller/larger portions. |

boneless skinless chicken... on anything.
I ususally toss it in a buffalo sauce before...
*buffalo chicken wraps
*eating it by itself
*eating it on a romaine salad
*making a burger out of it
*buffalo chicken tacos
*making rice w/chicken drenched in buffalo sauce
and my fav.
*buffalo chicken hot dogs (boneless skinless chicken strips) coated in mozzarella cheese and wing sauce.
is this all healthy? some of it is, some isnt..
use low fat dressing etc.
its def a start and an easyer way to start eating better/healthier than trying to fucking "diet"
diets usually dont work cause they arent usually a long term fix on bad eating habits. |

You gotta be aware of where the chicken comes from as well. Stay away from the Zacky Farms and Foster Farms crap. In fact, you shouldn't buy any meat from a big chain supermarket. Try to buy kosher chicken or buy it at a health food type place. |

true, but health food place = $$$.
Here's how I roll when I feel the spare tire growing (it's cutting carbs, not the traditional low carb fad):
Don't drink beer.
Brown rice if you MUST have carbs.
No potatoes.
No white bread or white rice (wraps if you crave bread).
Lotsa vegetables. Stir fry is easy.
Fish, fish, fish. grilled salmon is easy.
No pizza.
Don't drink beer.
No chips, no junk food, no candy. Pecans are great and also help curb craving food.
NO SODA. I don't even drink diet. Water, green tea, more water, seltzer if you MUST have carbonation. Water makes you feel full so you won't crave eating so badly. You'll also be making friends with the urinal at work and your toilet at home.
ABSOLUTELY no fast food. Don't go looking for what's healthy and "not so bad" on the menus because it is all SHIT. Save your money and make stuff from home.
Uh, don't drink beer.
It sucks, but guess what? Couple that with walking, skating, looping fishline through decks, , hammering nails in the wall for your decks, stretching out your body to hang them on said wall....you'll be rail thin in no time. |

It ain't always about weight. You can be skinny as a rail and be unhealthy.
You're right, eating healthy does sometimes cost more. Save the money and pollute your body. |

...I believe the above diet I described for him looks pretty healthy, Tony Little.
I have to go back on hiatus, mot everything I read somehow aggravates me one way or another.
Signing out. |
