My latest board was on the doorstep when I got home.
Grabbed it and stuck it in the closet just as the wife pulled up.
Did not tell her I ordered it.
Almost caught me! |

Oh I'm set now.
Before about 3 months ago I worked nights so all the decks that came in my wife saw first...not cool.
Now I work days and get home first 95% of the time so unless one comes in on Sat I get to hide it or not depending on the sitch.
Usually I rip it out and stack it with my others not hung yet and she's none the wiser cause she could care less to actually look at what I have piled up.
I have about 15 not hung yet and wall space is dwindling 
I know that's nothing for most of you guys but I'm getting the feel of things to come (decks stacked in a pile somewhere never seeing light of day).
I was watching Run Ronnie Run with David Cross last night and there's a scene where these hippie new agers tell Ronnie that to be happy he just has to ask for what he truely wants...
First thing I thought of when I asked myself this question was a Hosoi Vert Flag What the hell is wrong with me? |

| I was hopeful that when the wife's hours went from 9 to 6 (I get off at 4:30 usually) that I would be able to beat her home. But since the doctors in the office usually get done seeing patients between 4:30 and 5, she has been beating me home. Doesn't matter usually, because the kids will tell her on the phone when they call to say they're home from school that a "big box arrived for dad!" Can't seem to win either way.... |

That works 99% of the time, too! Until they go in your car for something.....
Lately though, in an effort to not upset things, I haven't been given any grief on ordering decks. I was even given the, "That one looks cool. Why not order it friday when I get paid?" When I came to, I said sure thing! |
