Did anyone else catch the Jeep King of the Mountain Snowboard Cross on TV saturday? I was stoked to see Shaun Palmer back. He won it too. It was real inspiring to see him come back at 39.
He's made the Olympic team again too. |

i missed it ... I'm gonna try to find some footage of it. I love Boardercross. Our high schools actually have boardercross teams now! I'm one of the coaches.
If it would stop being warm we'd actually be able to race.
SP is an incredible rider. Heard he has an attitude tho.
Would be good to see him rip up the Olympics. Actually, would be fun to see him pull a Jacobellis just to piss people off. |

| I saw Palmer win. He's so smooth over the humps, keeps his movement to an absolute minimum, and gets more speed that way. Stuff like that can only come with age and experience. Much respect. |

| I think the fact that he was a skier earlier helped out in the boarder cross events. He can get that hole shot at the gates and its later days for everyone left behind. Every time you see someone doing a method air, its because of Palmer! |

It sucks he was bumped out in boarder X and din't make qualifying in skier X. 
I don't think slow is in his vocabulary. |
