when half of them are canceled? I need help you shop owners out there. I am a sales rep for Shut and Triple 8 and am pretty new to the game. I have been going to shops (most of which are over a 5 hours drive away, sometimes double that), doing my thing since August and one issue has been repeated over and over. The person in charge of skateboard buying either leaves early (on the later appointments), double books me, or simply forgets. I do everything I can, including calling the day before as a reminder, but this still happens literally 50% of the time. Any ideas to improve my appointment accuracy?
While writing this I have thought of my second biggest problem, and that is the shop that says they want to place an order, take the freebies and paperwork, and then never get back to me. This is actually more widespread percentage wise than the missed appointments, but the numbers are lower so it is second on my list. I do not want to be rude by calling as a reminder the next day, but what else can I do? Any suggestions on that end? Thanks a lot everyone.

Close the deal and write up the order before you leave the shop |
