definetly the best in MAINE, sunday river sucks a$$ & thats the next best place, great if you like cross country on a snowboard... personally I think it sucks..

sugarloaf usually has good ski/stay packages like $69-99, steal considering the tickets are 55+, worth the trip IMO.

If there's snow ... which there is ... Magic Mountain in Londonderry, VT has some great terrain. BUT the lifts are slow and antiquated.

Its 3.5 hours from New Haven. Are you a licensed driver now Chad?

I should negotiate a weekend retreat at my in-laws VT house. Its 15 minutes from Magic & Okemo and there's also some good backhill poaching right out back.

overall stowes the best. on a pow day jay peak is the tits. south vt id say okemo has the best tree's/freeriding out of the big 4 in south vt but like anywhere else you have to have local knowledge of the lines. well magic mtn ive had a pass there twice when they first reopened and its OK mtn on a pow day..if theres not at least 10 inches id stay away from magic as they have no idea how to groom a mountain over there and im not sure if they lodge even has a liquor permit yet.

jay peak snow report as of today

New Snow
24 HRS 4 in / 10.2 cm
48 HRS 6 in / 15.2 cm
7 Days 58 in / 147.3 cm
Season Total 177 in / 449.6 cm

yep east coast mother fuckers

and the face of jay is no joke.
