When I woke up this morning I was in a really bad mood, I'm just getting beaten up bad lately from skating, work, ect. I put in Blind's Video Days and watched the Gonz part. Damn I'm in a good mood now. Does this work for anyone else when they get bummed out?

Yes, a good skate video can certainly lift the spirits, especially with some spirits.

More uplifters...(more new school than old)
Toy Machine:
Jump Off a building & Welcome to Hell

Thrasher:
Firing Squad

Black Label:
Label Kills (Have you seen this shit yet people?)

Ahh, there are so many but these are a few that I can depend on if I'm getting bummed out 'round the house. You'll be itchin to skate within seconds but do not watch these on rainy days unless you have indoor access.
Otherwise you will be twice as bummed.

THE LABEL VIDEO IS SICK. BY FAR THE BEST VIDEO IF YOU LIKE MORE THAN STREET......
WADE SPEYER FUCKING RIPS. S/C REASON FOR LIVING AND SPEED FREAKS ARE ALSO GOOD WITH COLD BEER.

Yes! Speed Freaks has got to be one of the longest tapes ever! Everyone is on that tape. I can never watch just ONE part on that either, always end up watching the whole thing. Danny Way goin sick at like age 13(?), Neil Blender with the chin smash (LOL) and two-foot quarter(LOL again), Tom Knox's entire part(w/shredded Van's) Dressen's downhill run, Hosoi's Christ Air, Grosso, Gibson, Thiebaud, Ron Allen, even the soundtrack rocks! Ahh man, yea I have definitely worn out that tape!

Oh, and yes that whole Label team is unbelievable! It's such a relief to see some hardcore, creative skating with some old school flavor.

Both of the Tiltmode vids are superb for curin' what ails me. Louie Barletta is one of the sickest skaters out now. Label Kills also puts a big ol' grin on my mug. As far as older videos are concerned, I've got one called Board Crazy. I picked it up at a grocery store (!) in '86 or '87. I can't remember exactly. It features a bunch of Pacific Northwest guys that are sick as hell. The soundtrack consists of mostly old Sub Pop bands. Bottoms up.
