So, I've reached the point in my collecting where I've used as much wall space as I want to, and also as much wall space as my Wife will tolerate. I'm now starting to build a loose pile of decks that seems to be increasing in height at an alarming rate. I didn't like them sitting on top of each other unprotected, first and foremost because I'm anal retentive, but also because I don't want them to shift and then be stuck for the rest of my life trying to spin "storage scuffs" to all my potential buyers.
If you push the deck to one side, you get some left over plastic on the other side. When you stack or line them up, have all the loose plastic face outwards. It muddles your ability to see a particular color. It always looks like the same pile of decks rather than a constantly changing rainbow of color. Maybe the pile has grown a little? Maybe it's a just the same pile of decks? Maybe I bought some new ones? Maybe I sold some? Who knows?
What I have done, is blurr the lines between incoming and outgoing. |

Clever.
But a word of warning: those poly bags can get a little slippery on top of each other and your stack can come crashing down.
Ever considered a safety deposit box? |

Yeah... I've started to notice that. That's why I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do about pile #2. |

Personally, I solved all my space problems by exchanging my decks for money which most banks will happily store for you... |

Once you've seen one Ben Franklin you've seen them all.
So what do you have to show for that money now? |
