Due to the fact that my wife's family lives there, I have to go down to Palm Harbor, FL (north of Tampa) every couple of years. It can be a nice break from the snow in the winter months but after a couple of days it's just plain BORING. I always bring a board w/ me even if just for cruising and have thought about hitting Tampa parks but they are far enough out of the way that it hasn't been an option, especially w/ limited access to a car. Enter Dunedin (Stirling) Skatepark. Team Pain just finished this gem and it's a scant 15 minutes from my father-in-law's front door. Plus it's on the coast - a direction the family is far more likely to head as opposed to the city. AND it's lit so I don;t have to worry about squeezing it in during the day. Needless to say I'll be making a detour from our beach route (Honeymoon Island) next time we visit - for sure.

TP built something killer in Naples ... not sure how close that is to Dunedin. |

That skatepark looks sooo nice. Team pain always finishes there parks with the smoothest cement. They need to stop building parks in FL and come up to CT |

They have gotten a lot better over the past few years, but the park in Nashua, NH, that they did in 2000 is far from smooth. Kind of shit where you knee slide and your pads end up 6 feet behind you. The pool is another story. That's smooth as ... well, it's smooth. I wish they would come back resurface the rest of the park. |

My mom lives about 25 miles north of Dunedin. I'll be down there first weekend in Nov. I'm stoked to go to that park. I'll be in town on Sat. the 3rd. Probably hit the park Sunday a.m. If anybody wants to meet me there, hit me with a PM |
