Ive got a way of my own.. which of corse is rather standard.. i just add a little clear rum.. maybe a teenie bit of cornstarch if things get watery.. sub a jalapeno for a serrano or scotch bonnet.. that kinda thing.
but ive got 3 big fat very ripe mangos i gotta grub up now and since ive gotten plenty of other great things on here... anybody got a favorite recipie of thier own? |

no recipe but my buddy at work literally walks at a fast pace to heap mounds of it at Baja Fresh in Jericho, NY. They just added it to the salsa fixin's bar if you will and homebro can't get enough of it. I can't wrap my head around putting fruit on meat** but maybe I'll give it a taste next time.
**shut up, I know that came out bad. |

Yes sir fish tacos rock anyway you fix them esp with that. here is the normal "generic"recipe that I have used.
1 mango - peeled, seeded and chopped (without seed...duh! HA)
1/4 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
1 green onion, chopped (or red onion, whichever you like)
2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
1 fresh jalapeno chile pepper, finely chopped
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 tablespoon lemon juice |

The best way to enjoy this gear is with some coconut battered prawns guys.
Usually with some fresh salad , works best if u got say 5 /6 prawns on a skewer, flour and batter( not the mars bar version just basic beer batter) toss in some dessicated coconut and deep fry. Serve to ur misses on salad greens topped with salsa .
If u dont get some after that might, be time to speak to a lawyer.LOL. |
