I always wanted to try that. But last time i searched for some UV Lights, they kicked me out with my frames, from the solarium.

Yeah, using packing tape.
Even when you got the equipment, you don't guarantee that some ass in your shop isn't going to screw it up.

There is a video tutorial that infamouscody posted from a major supplier that broke it down in video segments, but it was just for soft goods. I have the videos saved some where on disc, but if you do a search in this section with his name, it should pop up if they are still online. Didn't watch the video above, going to watch it now...

we tape the inside and outside of every screen

we use split tape that rules over all other tape leaves no resedue and peels off complete in 1 piece

it takes less time and money to protect our investment in frames then it would take to scrup the ink off the rails and it also keeps the ink from getting between the rail and the mesh....

Yeah, that's the way we did it when I worked for a screen printer.
Beats cleaning it without tape.

http://pmitape.com/

i buy it by the case of 24 costs about 6.50 a roll
I get about 14 screens front and back out of a roll so my costs I figure at about .50 a screen

but the amount of time you save in labor in peeling crappy tape, and washing tape resiude, or cleaning rails, it's so worth it....

my employees thank me for this tape....
