or they tell you things didnt work out, if you still want it its available...

I got it cheaper than the guy who won the auction did. It was sold to me for my highest bid. |

He might be right. If that other guy didn't snipe you, you would have got the board at a lower price. Since he sniped you, your highest bid came into play.
example:
Your High Bidder at $51
Your Max Bid=$100
The seller has a friend bid $500 and becomes high bidder at $102.00
Now the seller knows that your max bid was $100, and makes a extra $49.00
Of course, you could have started your bid at $100.00 at the last minute and was immediately out bid. In that case, it sounds legitimate. |

I see what you're saying. But at 55.00 bucks for a re-issue, that's about what they're going for anyways. I could see if it was a HUGE difference as given in the example above, but it wasn't. |
