Yesterday I was at the local surf shop and got talking about skateparks with the owner. He said that Wellfleet has a $170K grant to upgrade their skatepark. So this morning I called Sloppy Sam and he said they've already got the job and will begin work in 2 weeks. He says we can expect to see a nice kidney pool where the miniramp now sits.
Orleans is also looking at improving their park with a $64K grant, but the city folks there don't want a permanent park. I'll work the phone this week and see about that. $64K isn't a whole lot, but it could build a nice feature or two... |

Nice!!! My cousin and her family will be moving to the Cape in the next month or so (into a big mansion). I'm sure she'll let me crash in one of the many bedrooms so I can skate.

That new traffic circle at the Sagamore bridge is a pissa.
We'll get Wentzle to come show us how to skate the pool. |
