Anyone ever skate this park? Its in Edison NJ, supposedly it has a 5 foot bowl and a couple of mini ramps, I found the place on some snakeboarder site searching for parks in Jersey:

http://www.snakeboarder.com/edison.html

Just trying to find some more info on it, if anyone's skated it and if it has screwy hours like alot of parks around here. Thanks.

Another "they brought it in on a truck" skatepark.

It appears the thing they're calling a bowl is just a 2' high bowled corner mounted on top of the deck of that mini ramp.

If you're around Edison you should skip that and go to Sayreville.

I know, I skate Sayreville at least once a week, but there's a contest going on there this weekend, so I was looking at maybe checking this place out instead. Thanks for the heads up though.

Its nothing spectacular or anything
but still a fun & unique place!

Located immediately in front of Police station.
So watch those open containers and stuff.

Hours...
Every time I skated there, the park was being well used but the gates were closed.
It made me say to myself, "JB, you're getting too freakin' old to be jumpin' fences to skate".

Interesting in construction.
EVERYTHING IN THE PARK IS MADE OF FAB'D STEEL! NO WOOD ANYWHERE.
When ya' ride, it sounds like a trashcan rolling down a hill.

-One stupidly small sub 3' mini ramp, that's fun to dork around on.
-One 5'ish mini with an extension and shares the same deck as the bowl.
-One 5'ish deep sorta' square bowl. It has the coolest corners of any bowl I've come across. They're not layered or petalled but drawn from a single piece of steel. Kinda' resembles a quarter of hollow sphere.
-the normal assortment of streety stuff.

It is, what it is. Enjoy what's there.

Thanks for the info guys. Might go check it out Sunday and then go watch the contest at Sayreville. I gotta get a session in before I can just sit and watch other people skate, otherwise its kinda like watching porn without being able to whack it, you know?
