I actually recall "Poorhouse" skateboards talking about their manufacturing process from back in the early 1990's, they used concrete molds fitted on a makeshift press and would drive some old huge 1970's Cadillac or Pontiac up a ramp and park it on top of the press. That is total ghetto manufacturing at it's best.

The glue that is commonly used is a pva or poly vinyl acatate very similar to standard wood glue but it has a catalist added to improve adhesion.I dont Know brand names in the states so I cant help you that way . Ring some glue suppliers they will sort you out unlike the printing, glue has no secrets.

I remember something about the Cadillac made press. That's some crazy shit. I'll tell ya.

Danny over at Factory 13 has a good setup goin on. Presses his own Boards. Custom Shapes. They're good for the Bigger style Boards.

I do some custom shaping, mostly built to order. I use a newer school style deck with a bit of Old School Flare to it to give it some Originality shapewise, instead of the same old popcicle decks. The decks have great Concave and good, strong pop with a nice kick tail and nose.
