I like them too!!
These pics are what, 2 years now old? I use the shit "quarters" from the modular design skate park here as launch ramps.

With some good speed you get some fun out of them. Not so good for the ol body and does sometimes kill a board.

Im thinking of building a real portable launchramp, maybe i find some time for it in the summer and also invest in a new cam to make pics.

Interesting. The second row on the left...are you doing a roast beef one footer? Don't think I've seen that before.

Im not really fit in trick names. Dont know what it would called, its just one of my ollie one foot variations with a grab. Doing ollie airs, it can look like a no-footer, like in that pic.
I can still pull out every ollie grab variation like in my youth, a little more or less stylish.

This, and my no comply variations, are my "weapons" for the kids in S.K.A.T.E. If they do fliptricks, i pull out that old shit. Like olson (or was it hackett?) said in Chlorine:
"We can do so old shit, that are like brand new tricks because nobody knows them anymore."

Yeah, the grab I was reffeing to in the picture is called a roast beef. It's when you grab the board with you rear hand in between your legs like so ^^^^

Looks rad...looks like fun. I can't tell you the last time I skated a launch ramp...but I can say it was sometime in the era of hippy-twists and method airs.

".it was sometime in the era..", hey its still 87, isnt it ?

Ok, its 07 and i need thick basketball shoes nowadays to do that or i cant walk the next day. Dont know what is worse for the body, launch ramps or jumping stairs like the kids do today?
