PV park here in Phoenix has been locked since October. City refuses to do any sort of enforment and thinks the 'adults should be policing the kids'. Swear, that is their position, even published that in the News paper (like they would let us actually 'police' the kids - ya right).
Why did they close it?
Because gang bangers robbed at gun a point a BMXican. All were non skaters, none should have been there, and they got our park locked down 'until further notice'.
City says 'maybe July, maybe never' for the reopen.
Half million on a park, and they refuse to do anything other then lock it up (3rd time for a long term lockdown).
Been to meeting after meeting about the lockdowns over the years, not a single take away has ever been done by the city.
Dam shame cities can be this stupid... |
