My first good ramp Circa 77 - Johnson City TN. Note the dogtown graphic i painted on there

Outlaw Ramp 1 Johnson City TN (phase 2) Circa 84 This one started out 8 tall by 12 wide but we added 8 feet of width and 1 foot of vert. Then we had a MESS contest w/ Gator, Roskopp, and McGill in attendence

This was Mark Harden's ramp in Charlotte NC Circa 85. One day we where sessioning and a biker shows up. He looked like he would kill you if you looked at him the wrong way. He hopped off his bike, went into the garage, and came out in shorts and with a board. Gary Looper (RIP) was a nice and cool guy. He was also a helluva skater. That is his bike in the pic

Bax Ramp Charlotte NC Circa 85 10 high 16 wide masonite
Geno Crane built this one

B&P Ramp Greenville, SC Circa 84 8 and 1/2 tranny 1 foot vert 28 wide. Brand new layer. Damn that was a fun ramp

Outlaw Ramp 2 Circa 87. Johnson City TN That is metal going down. Great but short lived ramp. 9 tran 1 foot vert 32 wide

THC Ramp Circa 87 Knoxville TN 9 tran 1 foot of vert 16 wide. This was the view from my bedroom window for about 5 years. Kind of dark but I had to post it.

Stripeys Revenge. A kid we called Stripey got a splinter in his foot. His mom sued for $40,000.00. The landlord said ramp and treehouse have to come down.

Farm Ramp Raleigh NC I dont know dimensions. Wish I would have skated it more.

Yep, Good old Days. Hey Sk8Librarian re-post those pics that started the thread. Anyone else got any good pics of old ramps?

the farm ramp was a blast. I lived in raliegh 88 to 89 and went to the farm ramp weekly. The last vert ramp I rode before joining the army and not skating for 6 years. super fun ramp and nice party room under the oververt

Dave's ramp, Safety Harbor, FL circa 1987. That's me doing a sweet frontside sweeper w/ even sweeter shorts, Anthrax t-shirt from their "Among the Living" tour, mullet and my Ken Park deck.

Anyone else wish they would've taken more pics from back in the day?

Leonard's Ramp - New Port Richey, FL - circa 1987.
9 1/2 transitions - 1 1/2 vert - 24 ft wide

(previously the Carrollwood ramp - was moved from Tampa to NPR)

Rob Mertz - channel method
