it would mount it with randall 150

That too would be a good choice though I don't like to use Randalls on any board that has less than about 20" of wheelbase. Waaaaaaaay too twitchy for me. But, with the Randalls you get plenty of height and have little need for risers other than some thin shock pads.

I won that board a couple of years ago in a slalom race as a 2nd place prize. Tried a lot of different ways to set it up to make it functional. Best way I found was with 62mm Cambrias (but the 66mm ZigZags should work perfectly) and old ACS 580 with white Khiro barrels, wedging the front and dewedging the rear (both by 11). It's now used as a loaner board to get kids into slalom. It's way to flexy for an adult.

Older Indy 109 or 106 RTx/s would work but definitely go for a very narrow truck (100mm or smaller) if you can.

thanks Mig, looks like i'll go with the Zig Zags (found some for a nice price),
still on the lookout for a good deal on some trucks but i'm more than halfway there,
i'm pretty light so i'm hoping it won't be too flexy for me

out of interest (im starting to get the slalom bug) do you set up softer wheels on front and slightly harder on the rear truck or just use the same durometer on all wheels

Depends on what you like. Most put a softer wheel up front and harder in back.

It's the other way around. Harder in the front for more speed and better reaction, and softer in the back for more traction.

What I suggest to new slalomers is to get 4 wheels of the same duro (something between 80a and 83a, depending on rider's weight) to start on so you can rotate the wheels for a longer life. And then when they get the hang of it and get faster, they only have to buy 2 harder front wheels (83a or 86a) and have the other 4 softer ones to rotate in the back. The back wheels cone way faster.

did Indy make 109's with new school holes? not that it's all that difficult to re-drill them......
