i agree about the red. its probably a little late but the board looks really 2D to me. i could see more detail on the edges of it.

also maybe add a drip at the tip.. maybe not.

killer work tho! it will look nice on wood. what kind of background are you thinking about?

Nah, dammit your right, I think i missed a line there on the side of the board..I`ll sort that out..Thanks for catching that...

But my thanks to you both for the advice, I`m 50/50 either way myself...Not sure on a background either, I`ll decide on one once I decide on a colour..if that makes sense..
whatever works with the final colours...

Stoked your liking it though, Thanks for the help...

The only flaw I'd think is you do not transfer blood in a syringe with a needle like that, it's used to take samples from the body from my knowledge. I do understand the desire to make it red since skating is in your blood, but I'd think a different color behind the tip would be more realistic. Since sometimes blood comes in while trying to take a sample, I thought red at the tip would look cool and another color behind it.

Another cool thing is you can add more stuff to this if you desired. You can draw a person/junkie/etc injecting or giving a sample. This art is cool because it can remain simple (I do not mean that as a insult), or you can add to it and REALLY go off with it.
You can even bring humour ( might backfire ) to the art by playing on stereotypes and making the person fullfill all of them.

Either way, it's still clean. I love it...

Should the syringe be air free with no bubbles? I like the bubbles because it gives it a feeling of a liquid instead of a solid slab of color in a art standpoint, but would it be more realistic with the syringe bubble/air free?

Just over analyzing like usual. Keep up the great work...

Damn Man, Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me...

Now, I`m the first to admit, I`m not really sure how a syringe works, as in blood intake, bubbles (although i do know that`ll kill you apprently) and all that works...But that`s exactly why i put them there, to help explain the depth of it, and make it though the board was immersed, not just sitting on top of the fluid...

Blood coming back to the syringe though, that never occured to me at all...

While I could see me doing more of these in a theme and settings of sorts, for now I just wanted something big and simple,

Can`t thank you all enough for the brainfood!!

nahhhhhhhhhhhh, that's christmas!

Blood, black and white board! Grey might even look cool with the red.

just to be an asshole, wouldn't it look cool if it was blood bursting into the syringe like a vein was just spiked?

I want to buy a t-shirt with this on it.....WHEN!!!
