The warm weather in the mid-Atlantic regio has it made it the worse snow/ski season in years.
Went snowboarding yesterday at Whitetail for the first time this season and the conditions were pretty bad. With temps in the mid 60s, many of the trails were more sludge/mud than snow.
Still, the trails were empty, so what snow was there was fun. Hopefully, the weather will get colder for the area resorts to make and keep snow. |

Hardly any snow at all in Europe this winter. None in Sweden, Norway nor Russia. |

That has to be so weird to be in the midst of a European winter and have little to no snow.... |

yep - business has been HORRIBLE. Second season in a row. Making it tough on my shop. Rethinking how much snow stuff to have next year. Too bad too, because i LOVE snowboarding. |

I read that it's causing some psychological problems in Russia and there are huge sales of fake snow to spray on windows! |

yeah - I always laugh when I see the carparks at big resorts in north america full of big boxy V8's, SUV's and the like......... the more you drive those, the worse the snow will get eventually.... |
