So, if you're into going fast, or want to watch some of the fastest racers in North America and Europe compete, check out this weekend's IGSA North American Championships, just east of Los Angeles in San Dimas (right where the I-10 and the 57 cross).
The Canadian speedboarders, including K-Rimes (Rayne), Meatball (Landyachtz), Cody "Shadow" Tisdale (Landy) and others are coming down, to join the Swedes and Germans coming to compete against the California crew and "gringos" from across the country. It's two days of qualifying and racing in Standup DH, Luge, Buttboard, Gravity Bikes and Inline DH...the big day is Sunday. |

The inline DH can be okay to watch, and certainly fun when we get to run the ""DH Challenge" at Bonelli: two or three inliners vs. two or three standup DH skaters, in a heat together. On the high-speed course, the skateboarders won; on the Raging Waters course, the inliners kicked to the win after coming out of mayhem corners.
This race promises to have inliners, skaters, lugers and bikes all bouncing off the hay lining the new 90-degree right turn. It's going to be hard to move down-course for the finish line shots! |

| Photos and vids are up. Noah Sakamoto, out of Berkeley, California, is Continental Champion. He beat the best from the USA & Canada with a deceptively smooth line that put him through the hard-90 at 2-3 mph faster than anyone else, time and time again. Great racing! |
