My cousins lived in Corona, which I think is near Riverside, and I remember finding all kinds of killer ditches to skate when we'd visit them. But that was the 80s so they could all have been filled in for housing developments by now for all I know.

There's a ditch across the street from the Glen Avon library. The people that live in the house behind the ditch are cool and won't call the cops. There's supposed to be a pool around there as well (near a retirement community) somewhere near Pyrite up on a hill.
Last year, they put a new ditch in on Jurupa and Hemlock (in Southridge). If you go to the dead end of the street next to the new houses, look for the hole in the fence.
Best ditch in that area was the one on Cherry and Baseline (west of Cherry). Shit was gnarly. You had to go over two pipes before you reached the opposite wall. |
