If anybody can help us out we would be greatfull.
We have a new line of wakeskates that were working on for 07 and we need to lighten them up from our 06's a bit. We currently are using a white birch 1/16th 8 ply(from somewere in vermont ( same as sector 9)).
Is maple lighter and more expensive? Because were paying a great price for our wood (birch) we get now.
ive tried using less glue but we then get no "squish out" . We even tried to get up in the 1/8 inch area to eliminate some glue lines.
but the wood was prelayed sheets or door skins and it also is birch.
were open to suggestion please.
thanks again in advance |
