i was wondering if anyone would know how to make a splatter effect like the one in this picture? is there a shortcut to it or do i just need to be patient and go dot by dot?

i didn't know where to post this question so i thought, since i use those programs making art to be screened, i would post it here.

To be honest, I find the best way to do it is to, erm splatter some paint!

do it for real, photograph or scan it, and import it, its probably the quickest way! if you search the web for 'scatter effect brushes' or similar you should come up with somehting ready done however.

open them in photoshop, throw a selection around it, and go to the edit menu, and select "define brush".

That's it.
