someone should recommend rplace all the coping on larger bowl with 2 1/2 black iron. That would make that bowl at lot better. The small coping makes it hard to lock into.

The street course transition are the best part of this park.

i feel you on the graffiti and stupid designs..

martinez Ca. park is alright. i'm not good enough to fully enjoy it. but the local punks graffiti the crap out of it. they ruined a set of new picknick tables that were near it so the city removed them. now.. . no kids birthday party bbq's under the canopy.

i blame the bmxers. they dump rocks trash in the park to deter skateboarders. so if you go to martinez, bring a broom. (and maybe a louisville slugger)

Concord Ca. park. i skated it for the first time last weekend and i had fun. lots of low trannys and smaller bowls (i actually landed a frontside grind!) anyway, they have this stage with a mini ramp sized tranny to coping which is cool but on top of that they have more tranny. its totally retarded and unskateable. they also have these pillars that make no sense.

i dont know what the designers are thinking sometimes.

I don't know what they are thinking either - that's why I wrote this post: If I were going to design a skatepark...
