OMFG!

i have driven by this place everyday for the last 4 years,
So today i was tired of the old carne asada,
plus im gettin to the age where i am starting to carry my weight
so i gotta skate more eat less.

anyhow $5 lunch buffet is to die for.
fuuuuck/
the spicy chicken/ spinach slosh/ naaan?/ tandoor chicken is
soooooooo good.

I think i got a new favorite.
and I couldnt even finish the HUGE to go box filled of this goodness.
I even had dinner. 5 BUCKS!!

something tells me i may pay for it tomorrow though,
all that spice cant be good.

now im sitting here asking myself why i never knew about this
food called INDIAN before today?
I mean no-one i ever have known has eaten it
nor wanted to go into a place like that,
I was truly clueless before today.
Damn ive been missing out.

yumadelic - one of the first kitchens I cooked in served some rad indian dishes - masala dosa, samosas, puri bread,...I got turned on the chai tea - and this was in '88, well before it became hip & trendy.

good stuff.

Love the food but I ALWAYS end up with a case of "ring sting".

I don't really like Indian food. In my opinion, a little curry goes a long way, and Indian food goes way too far.

I actually think that Indian food (and restaurants, and cooks) really, really stink. I'd rather smell dog farts.

Actually, curry is but a small componant of a fraction of East Indian cooking. You need to go to a real East Indian restaurant.
