Ahhh...gotchya. Like I said, the Corey II was my first deck, so that deck is a little before my time... I always referred to the huge decks as hammerheads.

Right on. I dropped you a PM. We might have some mutual friends. Hit me up when you get a chance.

it's not what works for me, it's what works for every skateboard collector on the planet. not busting balls, merely commenting on the fact that you use the name for a very specific christian hosoi deck for all old school decks. then again I'm anal about this stuff. sorry.

I cannot agree more -- as would 99.9% of the members here.

Now calling an old school freestyle board a 'popsicle' is something else entirely.

No worries- Like I said, just gonna call them Old Skool, that way I don't get that god awful photo thrown in my face again.

I'm sorry, there is nothing beautiful about that Hosoi deck.

word, word. stick around this place and pick up on some of the lingo, you'll find it'll help you with this game we call skateboard collecting. old school is a very vague term, most people here use numbers and other odd terms to refer to specific deck shapes and whatnot.

have a good one.

How'd I miss this thread? So, is the Sonic for sale? I have a spot open for one in my Reaper collection.

man you could only wish to have something as ugly as this real "Hammerhead" in the collection

What we are trying to tell you is

if you want to hang around and buy/sell/trade/ask values/ or just plain talk shit......

learn what you are talking about.
old school means just that, but it doesnt apply to everything pre 2004

Hammerhead shape means just that, but it doesnt mean it applies to every deck larger than 8 inches

its a cool place to hang and learn, just LEARN

WELCOME
and you dont by chance have one of these??

i tried to steal it from another members house, but he caught me and this is the pic to prove I got caught
