I have decided that I need a set of kneepads once again. I honestly haven't worn pads since around '93. I had an old set of Rectors protectors back then but honestly at this point I couldn't tell you if I liked them or not.
In your opinions what are some of the best/most comfortable pads most suitable for skating pools and ramps? I was thinking about getting in on that group deal for the Pro Designed pads. I know the prices are supposed to be a steal at wholesale but I wanted your opinions. I thought i'd ask the experts before making a purchase.
Maybe I just need someone to convince me to pay $100 for pads. Help me out guys. |

No, you NEED to spend $165 on Pain Cheaters! They are hands down without a doubt the best knee pad on the market. I was die hard Pro Designed until I tried a set of Pain Cheaters and there is no comparison. |

No kneepad compares to Pain Cheaters. Period. If you like to ride big terrain and you're serious about protecting your knees, do what it takes and save up 165$ and then give Kevin a call. |

paincheaters, but if want something cheaper, steer clear of prodesigned. They slip down. Smith scabs or boneless are good cheaper pads. |

I have the wrap-around PD's (the kind you don't have to take off your shoes to put on...haha) and have not had any problems with them. Working very well. No slip downs. Nothing. Only wearing out the recaps right now and need a new set. I *may* look at Pain Cheaters when the time comes to replace my PDs, but we will see. Also the 187s are pretty good too. I think a simple search of this forum will give tons of hits on peoples opinions in several past threads. |
