Some of you know that I work at a steakhouse.
Ok, some British soldiers were in town the over the weekend for some training in the area. For shits and giggles they challenge one of them to eat a big steak.
They decide on a 40 oz New York. Thats 2.5 lbs or 1134 gr. of meat or a roast to some.
This is by far the biggest steak that I have cooked for one person including the Helli skiers from Switzerland that come in for the 42 oz Porterhouse every winter.
The closest one is 14 oz.
This is a side by side shot of the big one and a 18 oz steak.
This is a $100 steak that he ate, yes all of it, that his friends gladly paid for. |

| We put the fries on the side. He ate that too. I never asked if he ate the fat though. |

| I have to say i am slightly disappointed that there is sauce on those steaks. I like my meat grilled to perfection with nothing more than a little salt and pepper. that being said, still looks mighty tasty and i think i could finish the big one. |
