Since there seem to be so many occassions on this forum where Vince catches hell, I thought I would make a positive post for once. I just got my Outlook video. I spent a relaxing lunchtime eating leftover Thanksgiving food and checking out the video. I am not much for reviews, but I will say that this is one fine piece of work. This is one of the few videos I have seen in the past 3 yrs or so that actually has something for ANY skater. There is the obligatory heaping of street wizardy at the beginning...the usual flips 100 different ways-land-repeat, handrails, road hazzard ollies, etc....some good, some painful to watch (one guy skated about 2 mph but did crazy tricks)...but I understand why it all has to be in there (ie, it is what is popular right now and what sells most). BUT...after that bit of commercialism, the REAL video begins. Some GREAT stuff! I LOVED the freestyle section!!! I can't say that enough. It was really cool to see it still alive and kickin'. Awesome! (Vince, your skater even looks like Mullen..haha). Then there is some great ramp and wooden bowl skating (I would love to know where one of those bowls is....sickening.) During that part, it really reminded me of what it means to be an east coast skater...same kinda vibe. Oh yes, there is some concrete too...though minimal...some 'crete parks. Finally, you get the extra bonus of the Phillip's Soul Bowl footage. All in all, a fun video and a pleasure to watch. Good work, Vince!....guess I will have to balance this out by calling you an asshole on another thread some other day. =)

How is the quality? "skate video" like or "home video" like? |

There's a difference? hehe No...it is actually done quite well.....as best as a typical skate video can be.
