As I recall, this smelled so good I just had to take a picture. Talk about a case of the munchies!

  • sourdough bread with whole garlic cloves baked inside
  • hot pepper jack cheese
  • tomato basil sauce
  • pepper caper olio balsamic sauce
  • dual blades to defend against moochers

Home made? I make my own sourdough and I never buy that supermarket shit anymore. Goodbye to enzymes!

How exactly does the bottle of syrup from Cracker Barrel fit into the mix?

Yes, I did put it on the last slice. Thanks for reminding me. The mind is a wonderful thing to waste.

No, it came from the market. I do have a bread maker machine that I need to get cranked up again. The drive belt broke last winter and I've not gotten around to fixing it again.

Baked fresh daily is definitely the way to go.

For real. I used to program our bread maker to finish a loaf at around 7am - the smell used to wake us up and warm bread for breakfast was a joy.

Now that I use sourdough, I have to use the 'normal' oven method and it's so time consuming: it takes me around 10 hours to get a sourdough loaf But the quality is worth it!
