we do posters too and they are lots of fun, especially when you see hundreds of them up around town, plus they are super cheap to make so you can have some fun. I just finished printing some Against Me! posters, and have done some for Motorhead too, plus probably some Darkest hour in the coming months. Gigposters is great! |

yeah i just use water based, cause i don't have ventilation for solvents, and using house paint just seems wrong to me....

I really like speedball inks for posters. Don't use the paper or cardboard inks because the ink will run when water gets on it, or if you have a sweaty hand and touch the print at all then the ink will trasnfer to your finger. I had to reprint about 150 posters because it rained and there was a big puddle of red under each telephone pole . . . the textile speedball is what you want. |

This was done a few weeks ago.
I printed this using Nazdar flat poster ink. I used some transparent base to get the orange, printing yello over red. I was very happy with the results. I realy like poster printing.

I make a deck or two that look just like what he is riding in the poster. |

i've heard that the nazdar acrylic inks are very fast drying, as in they like to dry in your screen between flooding and printing. i'm guessing that you didnt experience this problem... |

I used 5500 series. Im not sure if thats considered acrylic. Its solvent based. I use quite a bit of retarder, plus the transparent base. I print fast and keep the screen flooded. I have had it dry in the screen in the past. But have been having good luck with my current set up. |
