Hey,
Does anyone know what shape the ECRW bowl is in?
Last time I was there it was falling apart BUT I heard that they have put down new sk8lite - true?
Is the coping still trashed?
Is it worth a trip to skate?

I tried to hit it up back in September, but it was locked up tight. I skated it back in the spring and the skatelite wasn't in the best shape - lots of chips and flakes, but it was rideable. Coping wasn't bad either.
Haven't been back in that area since to see if it's open again. You should call the local skate shop, Fred Skates: 540-310-4855. They should know what's up. |

I heard the riding surface has been fixed, but the decks are fucked.
GSL (Green Skate Lab) in DC is your best bet.
If you like a slow park with a ton of flat, then go to Arlington. |

Rode the ECRW a couple of weeks ago. Not too bad. Looks like the inside has been repaired but the deck is in pretty bad shape. Talked to a guy there that said the deck would be repaired this spring. |
