Gutted I missed them then.
I must admit I don't check eBay every day.
That said I saw a set a while ago but they were signed " to mike"
So I passed on them.
Maybe I shouldn't have.
So maybe now more folks are reading this thread everyone can remember my name --- Dai-mond ---
And flick me a pm if they see them for sale
Cheers all |

Hi folks
so i first posted a thread on here about 9 years ago for these decks.
this particular thread is nearly eight years old.
way too long to be looking for a set of decks.
along the way ive had a few leads
ive even been offered a set but they had permanent marker writing on them and the seller wanted way too much !
i bump the thread every now and then and occasionally get an email from one of you guys with an ebay on one deck or another.
That was until 2 weeks ago
an email popped up out of the blue and said
"ive a set in storage and im up for selling"
My heart raced!
could it be ?
after so long !
a few emails later and i had some pictures.
they all looked sweet. One was badly scuffed but as luck would have it it was the one i already had MINT !
few scuffs on one of the others but nothing bad.!
i made an offer.
Now the seller could have ebayed them, could have put them in the for sale here could have even asked in the public what are they worth....
but no
they guy knew i had been looking for ages and did me a cool deal.
I wont say how much . thats my business but hes happy and im happy
So a HUGE shout/ props and thanks to one cool S&B guy
Gilesyboy
great communication, swift postage and all in all one of the best sales ive had in my deck collecting career
Giles.. you are the man. thank you
im a happy man.
the search is over.
They will be framed and hung on the wall once ive done a bit of touch up on the paint on one or two.
so here they are

More sweetness heading down under. Tony Larson (the artist of this series) sold his set off a couple of weeks ago too. |

Congrats on the find + the cool seller. Too few of both these days.
I'm watching on my phone but leave them untouched imo. |
