I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt that English isn't your first language because what you wrote doesn't make much sense.
But it brings up a good question. From what I can tell none of the local OEM manufacturers actually make their own heat transfers, they just order them up. The application process from what I can tell is basically like putting on a sticker and then running it through a heat machine. Does anybody know if the process is more complicated than that? What kind of company would you be looking for in the yellowpages if you wanted to "do it yourself"? What do you tell a screening company once you get talking to them? "Uhh... I want to put graphics on a skateboard with a big heat transfer sticker thingamajig"?

Madrid skateboards might let you have their promotional video. It clears up some things. They are picky about who they will give the video to. |

forget about madrid.......
get your transfers here!!!! http://www.hechengco.com/
they are in china and are cheap as hell like .50 cents a transfer and $25 setup per color ther produce screen printed heat transfers.
99 percent of deck manufacturers order their transfers from china even if their wood is american or wherever they press em
anyway contact them youll be glad you did
you can do a min order of 50 decks and still have 5 different graphics if you want and you can just order like 100 of each graphic from the printer and keep em in stock
since its so cheap and just send more transfers when you need more boards done up
so when you reorder just send more transfers to your manu...
oh yeah did i mention its cheaper that having the manu just do everything.

but i dont do that secret email shit
I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW!!!!!!!!!! lol
good solid company and their facility blows away any facility in the US thet have nothing to hide and are better, faster, cheaper and not stuck up like most american people in this business

ok wthout further adooooo
THE ALLMIGHTY HEAT TRANSFER PRESS (2 of them actually)
another view
close up of the heating element and roller and motor
the heating element coveres 180 degrees of the RUBBER roller because even distribution heat is a MUST or your transfers wont adhere right
another shot....
The press is all fired up and ready to go!!!
notice the heating elements are hot and the rollers are making contact see backround the other machine is off and the rollers are up
also the motor is constantly moving so the rollers can keep an even distribution of heat.....
Here we GO!!! you stick the transfer on like a big sticker and send it through........
....keep her comin......
....keep her comin......
peel off the protective sheet.......
keep a peelin.......
and .......
TAAAA DAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!
hit the edges with a razor and your good to go!!! throw some stickers and shrink wrap and your the man........
well folks this concludes the heat transfer tour for today I appreciate all of you looking and please let me know what you think lurkers dont be scared i dont care about releasing information cause really this is NO secret allthough most all american companies want you to think it is....
you can pick up one of these babys for a mere $6000 not including shipping from china of course.
you can also buy the parts and build your own i have ALL the specs.........
but i will keep THAT to myself...........
later all hope this helps............ |
