I'd agree on the ceramic Ron's, faster than greased moose poop. Wheels, I've been runnin' the Rainskates Yellowjackets as of late, on my third set. 62mm/98a but seem harder.

What's wrong with 54mm wheels in the pool?

Nothing, but bigger wheels will be faster and hold their speed better.

Okay, I'm just starting out in the pool, so my slower 54mm 100a's should be fine. I was considering getting a taller, wider wheel for more stability, but it looks like I should wait until my skills improve.

You will be fine. I have a set of 54mm core Alien Workshops on my current set up. They grip very well and a with a good set of speed demon bearings they rip real good. I am actually considering a 53mm set now since I like to go from pool to street to ramp without having to swap out a set up. Most parks these days have good flow to them and you can transition from each section without stopping. Gotta love that! Later, Scabby

Gonna get some Powell Bowl Riders 60mm Pool formula. Anyone else have these? Heard they're really good.

Supporting the local shop, they have a set in stock.

Anyone ?

So the skills are improving. I know it's due mostly to my skills, but I'm finding these 54mm 100A's too slow and slippery. I want new wheels on the soft side. What durro rating will be borderline too soft for pools?
