I'm going to make a complete setup hopefully soon and I'm going to build a jig from the template Donald originally shared (With the help of AOS Bigtime). I was wondering if anyone used Oak or another type of hardwood for more rigidity? I plan on putting gussets for more support due to the size, but I was curious if a hardwood would be better.

Since it's harder wood, would stapling/applying the screen be harder?

Do you think I should have the screens stretched on Aluminum and then apply that to the jig?

Just some quick ?'s that might of already been asked, but I thought I'd ask personally myself.

time to look over the entire forum again. I use to have a nice supply list of products, but I need to find it again.

there is info on t-shirt and deck jigs on this forum, like four threads down.

I still think that aluminum screens are the way to go, at least for shirts. I think people like low tension for decks because of teh curve.

I decided to go with a cheaper hardwood than Oak for rigidity. I reread all the threads and Donald glued his screens on the jigs according to his origial posts when the template were available. I'm going to give that a try soon, I just need to figure out how to print up the template since it's so damn big. I might actually make a custom one based off of a few uncuts I got already if I can not figure a way to print the template out.

actualy i also do woodworking so i had some extra MDF lying around the shop so.. i was also able to find the hinges lying around so.. me nothing but i would say about 15$ for anyone else.. as for tools.. you can get away with a table saw for cutting.. and basic hand tools.. email me if you need more..
