it was super nice for sure but It was crowded and most of what was accessible to the majority was blown out in 3 runs. I hiked most of the day to get the goods. The snow was deep and apline has all these killer little hikes that give access to some unreal turns. I tripped on the crowd. I got in line about 45 minutes before the chair opened and I was like the 80-90th person in line. Here in Oregon on a day like that you can show up 15 minutes early and be on one of the first chairs.
Sierras kick ass though. |
