...that is the question.
So how do you decide when to flash between colors? Why no flash on a white shirt but flash on a black shirt?
Please explain, thanks. |

flash after underbase, between halftones (unless they are part of the last colour) and before the final black outline.
On darks print an underbase on 110. Flood then one slow. firm and even stroke to lay down and flat underbase (doesn't need to be bright white, you can even use a 50% halftone underbase for softer prints)
flash
print remaining colours, wet on wet then send it down the dryer. Try printing all the colours wet on wet and see how it comes out, then add flashes as necessary to get your final print.
it's really important to make sure your underbase isn't cured, that it's only just reached the point where it is dry to the touch. |
